Are you content with how things are going in your life right now? If you're reading this book, you're probably seeking a way to improve yourself. Maybe you're seeking a break in your relationship because you or your spouse have reached a stalemate for whatever reason.

Perhaps you're stuck in a job that you despise. Perhaps you believe you are not in the finest physical shape you are otherwise capable of. Make no mistake: suffering is a natural part of life.

There isn't such a thing as an ideal life. There is no such thing as a life that is full of rainbows, smiles, and lollipops indefinitely. We live in the real world, and trust me when I say that there is always space for growth.

At the very least, the majority of us are not living up to our full potential. We are well aware that we are capable of so much more. We see that we possess all of the necessary ingredients for great success and achievement in this life. Despite this, we fail to reach our full potential for a variety of reasons, many of which are self-inflicted.

Many of us live lives filled with guilt, regret, remorse, rage, resentment, and blame. Please understand that if you want to improve your life, the only person who can hold you back is someone who spells his or her name Y-O-U.

Yes, you are the one who is holding yourself back. Look at the biographies of great people who have accomplished so much if you don't trust me. Many of them had to overcome difficulties. Many of them had a long list of individuals who told them they were too stupid, too poor, too backward, too ugly, and a million other reasons why they couldn't achieve.

Nonetheless, they're up there, while you're down here. You must realize that it is not your background that determines you. It's not your traumatic childhood trauma, childhood poverty, or a lack of advantages that keep you from achieving your goals.

Many people have risen from abject poverty to become billionaires. Many people have had successful jobs despite having been discouraged their entire lives. As a result, you are not defined by your circumstances.

As Epictetus, a stoic philosopher, put it, "circumstances do not constitute the man; they only show him to himself." You must recognize that everything that happens around you is an opportunity. "Well, I'm going to jail soon, is that an opportunity?" you could be wondering. Where is the opportunity now that my girlfriend has broken up with me? I'm stuck in a dreadful job with an ogre for a boss. "I don't believe there are any opportunities."

Well, the only opportunity that exists at all times in your life is the opportunity to conquer, because what you consider a struggle, an affliction, or a problem, another person may perceive as a magnificent blessing. It's all a matter of perception.

Because when you alter your point of view, you alter your personality. Too many of us, unfortunately, expect the world to be just. We anticipate a pleasant journey. Things are expected to be handed to us. We believe that success is something we were born with. We only need to begin, and sooner or later, we shall arrive at our target.

Unfortunately, life does not operate in this manner. To add insult to injury, we grow bitter after receiving this instruction. We place blame on others. Life appears to us to be a gigantic joke. It doesn't have to be this, and it starts with your subconscious mind.

Please keep in mind that your conscious mind is only one component of your unique reality. You will perform well below your full capacity if you continue to underestimate, ignore, or disregard your subconscious mind.

Sure, you can accomplish a lot, but consider how much more you could have accomplished in your life if you had harnessed the power of your subconscious mind. I'm not necessarily referring to financial success, though many people do.

I'm only referring to personal satisfaction and contentment, as well as the assurance that you've lived a life worth living. Unfortunately, most of us fail to do so because we stress our conscious minds to the point of exhaustion. It's like trying to compete in a cycling race on a bicycle with only one working wheel. You failed to see the other wheel. You aren't going to make it very far.

This book will show you how to harness the subconscious mind's power and use it to your benefit.
